During the group stage, there were 2,700 Swedish supporters at the first match, 2,300 at the second and 1,300 at the third.

At quarter time there will only be 500.

- I think there are several reasons for that.

One is that they have not been able to plan and that we did not have "follow my team" tickets and that there is flight chaos in Europe.

We have to be satisfied with 500 anyway, says Christoffer Lund, the football association's ticket manager.

Is it a breed?

- Often when it comes to playoff matches, it's a rush and we would have liked to have all our thousand tickets sold, but we understand that the Swedes don't want to spend the entire holiday fund.

Sweden's quarter-final is played in the English town of Leigh, which is about a 2.5-mile drive outside Manchester.

- I do not want to comment on where Uefa places its matches.

I think they are doing the best they can.

Hope the atmosphere will be super good and that we chase them to a semi.

"It is so tough"

But some who will be there are a tough group from Jönköping who followed Sweden's path to the quarter-finals from day one of the championship.

- It's wonderful, that's why we're here.

They are so talented, so good, it's wonderful, says Lena Blychert.

What is the best so far?

- Football, of course.

Then we are a good group who have a holiday here for three weeks in total where we do a little different stuff.

We have traveled around between the games and seen a few different things.

What do you think about tonight's quarter-final?

- It's so hard, but it will go well.

But you don't dare withdraw anything in advance.
