The qualifying will be divided into two groups, and if you mark 83 meters and 50 centimeters or more, or if you are in the top 12 overall, you can advance to the final.



Dean entered Group A earlier and was in the 70-meter range until the second time, but in the final third time he threw 82 meters and 34 centimeters, which is his personal best this season, and became the seventh overall. I decided to advance to the final.



He is the first Japanese player in three tournaments since the 2015 Beijing tournament.

Dean said, "I was able to concentrate on what I should do and calm down and perform my performance. The third best throw of the season was a little off the run-up, but in the last part I put it in my throwing motion. So I think I got a record.
