China News Service, Beijing, July 21. In the women's discus final of the just-concluded 2022 Oregon Track and Field World Championships, Chinese player Feng Bin threw a personal best of 69 meters and 12 in the first round, and finally defeated a number of famous players to win the championship.

This is the second gold medal won by the Chinese track and field team at the World Championships.

Feng Bin, 28, competed in the women's discus at the Tokyo Olympics last year, but missed the final.

In the subsequent Shaanxi National Games, Feng Bin won the championship with 65.85 meters.

Before this World Championships, Feng Bin's personal best was 66 meters in April this year.

After qualifying with one shot in the preliminaries, Feng Bin revealed that she has trained well this year and hopes to make new breakthroughs at the World Championships.

In the final, Feng Bin's opponents include Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Allman and two-time Olympic champion Perkovic, of which Allman is the only player to exceed 70 meters this season.

In the first throw of the final, Feng Bin, who threw 69 meters and 12 meters, exceeded the goal set for himself before the game, and directly improved his personal best by more than 3 meters.

It is very rare in the women's discus event to be able to significantly improve the individual performance in the World Series.

With this vote, Feng Bin finally got his wish.

This is the second gold medal won by the Chinese track and field team at the World Championships. Previously, Wang Jianan won the men's long jump championship.
