The men's Tour de France is currently underway - and the competition ends on Sunday.
The next day, it's time for the first edition on the women's side and in the historic moment, Julia Borgström will be included.
The 21-year-old participates as the only Swede.
- It's shitty.
It feels like the ladies' cluster has been waiting for this for a while now.
It will be absolutely fantastic to participate, says Borgström to Radiosporten.
It's about eight days of competition.
A total of 100 km of cycling awaits the Swede.
- I have expectations that it will be a giant folk festival with fantastic and hard stages.
I have never done such a big and hard stage race before.
It will be interesting, challenging and very fun.
Borgström competes for the Dutch AG Insurance - NXTG Team.
