China News Service Client, Beijing, July 19th. On the evening of the 18th, Beijing time, the official website of FINA announced the Olympic qualification selection system for swimming in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
There will be 1,392 players participating in 49 events in swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, water polo and open water.
The 2024 Paris Olympics are scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 11 of that year.
The detailed schedule of each event will be jointly formulated by the Paris Organizing Committee and the International Olympic Committee and announced in due course.
The Paris Olympic swimming competition has a total of 9 days, with 852 participants and 35 events. The first gold medal will be born on July 27, 2024, and all the finals of the swimming competition will be held in the evening.
In addition, the diving competition started on July 27 and ended on August 10. The number of participants was 136, and a total of 8 competitions were conducted.
The synchronized swimming competition was held at the Paris Aquatics Center from August 5th to 10th. A total of 96 athletes participated in the competition of two events of pairs and groups.
