The Korea Football Association said, "After the match with his team yesterday, Kim Young-kwon complained of stomach pain and was hospitalized," said the Korea Football Association.



The association added, "After continuously checking Kim Young-kwon's condition, we will decide when to join the national team."



Kim Young-kwon played full-time in the K League 1 home match against Suwon Samsung (Ulsan 2-1 win) held at Ulsan Munsu Soccer Stadium yesterday (16th).



As a member of the national team led by coach Paulo Bento, Kim Young-kwon was scheduled to participate in the East Asian Cup to be held at Toyota Stadium in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan from the 20th.



The national team convened at Incheon International Airport on the morning of the 17th and left immediately to face off against China on the 20th, Hong Kong on the 24th, and Japan on the 27th.
