- To go from not qualifying for the Olympics to becoming world champion the following year is pretty cool.

I feel much better now, says Chase Ealey, who gained momentum in his career by moving to better training opportunities in the UK.

- It changed my life.

I found who I was as active.

I see no restrictions, but the journey has only just begun, the 27-year-old tells SVT Sport.

Now Ealey took the first American World Cup gold in shot put for ladies ever.

She won before the double reigning champion Gong Jijiao.

- I am so proud and now the snowball has started to roll for everyone on the team.

Now it will roll on, says Ealey proudly having shown the way for the rest of the team.

The Swedes are worse than in the qualifiers

The Swedes Fanny Roos and Axelina Johansson were eleven and twelve yesterday's qualifiers, which were the last two places.

They did not lift but ended up in the same places in today's final - but with worse results.

Roos hit only 18.27, over meters from the personal record last year, while Axelina Johansson, who put two shots over the personal record yesterday, was close to the meter worse today.

- I am very disappointed, felt like it was more on G but I missed everyone in the same way and did not get the pressure from the start.

I did not get it together, says Roos.

- I am happy with yesterday but would have liked to bump further today, she says.

That 22-year-old Axelina Johansson went to the final at all was a sensation.

- It was great fun to bump into the girls.

I would have liked to push further but I am super happy that I only went to the final.

I was a bit discharged since yesterday, says Johansson.
