The infection was confirmed by Ugusa, who played 45 games in the 1st army this season, Shosei Nakamura, who also played 27 games in the 1st army, and Rookie Takumi Kurohara. Includes pitcher Shohei Mori, Shota Suekane, and more.



According to the team, of the 18 people, 5 have fever, 2 have sore throat, and the other 11 are asymptomatic.



For this reason, the match between Hiroshima and Softbank, which was scheduled in Fukuoka Prefecture for three days from 19th of this month, has been cancelled.



In Hiroshima, all the players and staff of the 2nd army will undergo the PCR test on the 17th.

The following 18 athletes have been confirmed to be infected.



The pitchers are Shohei Mori, Takumi Kurohara, Sotaro Shimauchi, Makoto Aduwa, Jito Kobayashi, Norihiko Tanaka, Shun Yuki, Satoshi Shinie, and Kurusei Nakamura.



The fielders are Shosei Nakamura, Tomoki Ishihara, Shoto Takagi, Kota Hayashi, Yuya Nirasawa, Koki Ugusa, Shota Suekane, Shunsuke Tamura, and Seita Maekawa.



Of these, pitchers Tanaka and Nagisawa have sore throat symptoms, and pitchers Aduwa, Yuki, Shinya, Nakamura, and Maekawa have fever.
