It was in the season debut at the Diamond League in Morocco that Warholm injured in the back of the thigh, already after the first hurdle the Norwegian had to interrupt.
It has since been unclear whether Warholm will be able to participate in the World Cup in Eugene.
But at a press conference ahead of the championship, organized by sponsor Puma, Warholm confirmed that he was ready for competition.

But we have tested a bit and I feel confident that I am close to 100 percent, Warholm said.
Warholm's coach Leif Olav Alnes tells SVT Sport that the decision to compete was made recently.
