IFK Norrköping has had a tough season so far in the Allsvenskan and is in eleventh place in the table.

After 1-1 against Degerfors last weekend, coach Rikard Norling was fired.

Now the club is bringing in much-needed reinforcements for the autumn.

23-year-old Arnór Sigurdsson is ready for a return to the club.

Sigurdsson came to Norrköping as a 16-year-old and was then sold to CSKA Moscow for SEK 40 million.

He is now on loan from CSKA Moscow until June 2023.

- It feels great to be at home, I am expectant.

The team has been through a tough period and I want to help reach where we belong in the table.

I want to play good football and do what I can to get good results, says the 23-year-old.

Sigurdsson scored thirteen goals and eight assists in 87 matches for CSKA Moscow.

- It feels extremely fun that Arnór will return, he will be here on loan from CSKA Moscow until the end of June 2023. Arnór will add a lot to the offensive game, he is a scorer who raises our offensive highest level significantly.

It feels very gratifying that Arnór chooses IFK Norrköping, says the team's sports director Tony Martinsson.
