World number three France got off to a flying start against Belgium and could already in the sixth minute make it 1-0 through Kadidiatou Diani who at the right post nodded in a post from Sakina Karchaoui.
And the French continued to scoop in the first half, even though they were forced to a substitution in the 17th when Marie-Antoinette Katoto went out with an injury.
Several goal chances that were either blocked by defenders or saved by Nicky Evrard in the goal were created by France.
And then all of a sudden came 1-1 instead of 2-0.
In a quick turnaround, Tessa Wullaert would find Janice Cayman who without hesitation splashed the equalizer in the 36th.

However, there would be no change in the match picture.
Only five minutes later, Griedge Mbock would nod the ball hard into the net on a post, and France had regained the lead.
In the second half, France slowed down a bit.
But still shut down Belgium effectively and won 2-1.
A victory that means that the team secured first place in the group, and now meets the second in Sweden's group in the quarterfinals.
