The ISU = International Skating Union announced on the 14th that it will hold the 6th round of the Grand Prix series of figure skating, which was scheduled to be held in Russia in November, in Finland on behalf of Russia.

From October to November, the Grand Prix series of figure skating will have a total of six competitions in Japan, the United States, and Canada.



Of these, Round 6 was originally planned to be held in Russia, but it was canceled due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and the International Skating Union was seeking candidates for the venue with the aim of holding it in other cities.



As a result, the International Skating Union announced on the 14th that it will hold Round 6 in Finland.

The tournament will be held from November 25th to 27th.



In addition, Round 4 scheduled to be held in China has been canceled due to the influence of the new coronavirus, and the International Skating Union is considering alternative sites.



In Japan, Round 5 of the NHK Trophy will be held in Sapporo from November 18th to 20th.
