Djokovic missed this year's first Grand Slam in Australia when he was not allowed into the country because he did not get vaccinated against covid-19.

In Paris and Wimbledon, however, he was allowed to play, but it is still unclear whether he will be allowed to participate in the US Open, which begins on August 29.

He is currently not being admitted to the United States without being vaccinated and said as recently as last week that he does not intend to be vaccinated.

- I do not go to the US if I have not received a permit, says Djokovic.

I've done what I can and it's not up to me now.

At Wimbledon, Djokovic won his 21st Grand Slam title and is now chasing Rafael Nadal's record of 22 titles.
