After the outer runners Laorent Shabani and Moustafa Zeidan recently left Sirius for IFK Norrköping and Malmö FF respectively, the team has now strengthened.

The 25-year-old central midfielder Daniel Stensson, who this season has scored two goals in nine games for GIF Sundsvall, is ready until the summer of 2026.

- This feels incredibly exciting.

I have got a really good picture of how the club wants to work forward and how I with my qualities will fit into that development, says Stensson on the club's website.

Just minutes later, 19-year-old wingback Óli Valur Ómarsson was also presented.

The Icelander, who represented the country's youth national team, has this season accounted for one goal and five assists in the Icelandic league for Stjarnan.

- It feels very good to be here.

Sirius is a nice club in a very good league, says Ómarsson.
