A teenager was seriously injured after a shooting in the Argentine fourth division of the league.
The local Buenos Aires derby between Club Logan and Alm was suspended after 15 minutes of kick-off, as chaos swept through the "Logan Campo Municipal de Deportes" stadium.
Local reports stated that an 18-year-old was seriously injured after shots were fired in the vicinity of the match stadium.
It is alleged that the "Ultras" of the visiting team arrived in cars and opened fire on the fans of the owners of the land gathered in the bars near the stadium, injuring at least 7 in the volley of bullets.
Fighting also broke out in and around the stadium, and others were injured as a result of the fight and throwing of objects.
Police fired rubber bullets in an attempt to disperse the two warring sides.
It was also reported that a "sound bomb" fell near the home fans.
The referee first suspended the match before stopping it and asking the players and coaching staff to hide in a safe place.
A video clip shows the chaos that spread in the vicinity of the stadium and the street war that took place between two parties, in which they used all available weapons, while the others fled in terror.
Another video showed a boy clutching his stomach covered in blood and giving him urgent care.
"Unfortunately, the derby match was suspended due to accidents," a statement on the Club Alm Facebook page read. "What should be a celebration of a football match was spoiled by a group of violent people."
"We are in the locker room, we have no way out, and we are waiting to see how we get home," coach Horacio Fabregat was quoted as saying.
He continued, "The club's leaders are with us and we are communicating with the people of Logan to secure our exit."
"I was the first to see that something was happening, I called the fourth official and asked him to stop the match. Since then they asked us to enter the field, and they started throwing stones at us, and a loud bomb fell near the bench."
He concluded, "I know that what is happening abroad is dangerous, but we do not know what happened."
