This time, the news came from a famous Portuguese journalist named Pedro Almeida, who claimed that Luis Campos, the sports advisor of the Parisian team, contacted Jorge Mendes, Ronaldo's agent, and they discussed the possibility of moving the "Don" to the Princes' Garden.

He added that Ronaldo was excluded from the last Manchester United squad in the pre-season tour that he started the day before yesterday, Friday, from Thailand, and this is a high indication of the player's departure from Old Trafford.

Ronaldo, 37, missed the pre-season preparation period, while his club insists the player is not for sale.

And the British news agency (BA Media) reported that news of the Portuguese international’s desire to leave “Old Trafford” and play with one of the teams participating in the Champions League, spread recently, after a disappointing season for the team that Ronaldo returned to after previously. He played in his ranks and achieved achievements between 2003-2009.

Ronaldo provided a clarification when he missed the team's training last Monday, as this was the first session in which the new Dutch coach, Eric Ten Hag, received the players at the team's training center before the start of the pre-season period.

The club accepted Ronaldo's clarification because of "family affairs" that prevented him from reporting his absence from training, and the club is still dealing in the same way with the player's absence for days until last Thursday.

After repeatedly emphasizing in the past weeks that Ronaldo could not be sold, the club insisted on its position and there was no change in it, amid reports that the club wanted to sell the Portuguese player.

And it seems that the high-paid former Real Madrid striker represents a crisis for the club, at a time when BA Media revealed the increasing interest of Chelsea in his inclusion.

Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford last summer from Juventus, in a deal worth 23 million pounds ($23.5 million).
