Sepp Blatter and the former major player Michel Platini have been accused of conspiring for a Fifa payment of just over two million Swiss francs, corresponding to close to 21 million Swedish kronor.

The money was paid, with Blatter's approval, to Platini with reference to consulting services for Fifa between the years 1998-2002.

The plot was revived in 2015 and after a long investigation, the trial has been going on for a couple of weeks.

Prosecutors have demanded that both men be sentenced to 20 months in prison and repay the full amount of SEK 21 million.

Blatter and Platini have denied the allegations.

The verdict against those in power was announced today.

Swiss judges announced the verdict at 10 o'clock on Friday morning and it is clear that the pampers are acquitted by the court.

Sepp Blatter was chairman of Fifa for 17 years and Michel Platini, the former French major, was Uefa president for many years.
