Sepp Blatter and the former major player Michel Platini have been accused of conspiring for a Fifa payment of just over two million Swiss francs, corresponding to close to 21 million Swedish kronor.

Blatter claims that an oral contract has been drawn up between him and Platini for the payments.

Earlier today, they were acquitted of the charges.

- It is surprising when the investigation has been going on for seven years.

But we live in a legal society, and one must remember that this is only an individual case, says Markus Johannesson.

"Old men holding each other's backs"

He believes that the image of Fifa and Uefa will not change despite the verdict and that the corruption is clear, for example when Qatar won the World Cup.

- A handshake between two pampers personifies these two organizations.

It is clear that there have been far too many grandparents, it is old men who hold each other by the back, he says.

"More transparency is needed"

Johannesson sees no direct light in the tunnel when it comes to Fifa and Uefa right now, but hopes that the organizations can be changed from the ground up.

- Right now I see no improvement.

There is a need for more transparency, a better distribution between men and women and a more modern leadership.

Right now, money is everything, he says.
