One of the Real Madrid icons of the 60s and 70s, Pedro Ferrándiz, has died this Thursday at the age of 93.

The man from Alicante won 12 Spanish Leagues, 11 Spanish Cups and 4 European Cups during a successful career as Whites' coach.

Ferrándiz, the most successful coach in the history of our country, was included in October 2021 in the Spanish Basketball Hall of Fame.

His arrival at Real Madrid marked a before and after in the history of the white club, with which he won four of the first five European Cups that appear in the club's showcases.
