Lewandowski's future has sparked controversy in Bayern Munich for several months, as his contract with the team expires at the end of next season, but he wants to leave the Bavarian club and join Barcelona this summer.

So far, Bayern Munich and its chief executive, Oliver Kahn, have confirmed that Lewandowski should stay until the end of his contract.

According to press reports, Bayern rejected all offers made by Barcelona to include Lewandowski, in exchange for the Spanish club's insistence not to raise its financial offer from 40 million euros, in addition to another 10 million as financial incentives for the player.
