“There are no pre-investigation checks in cases of buying military tickets in relation to the listed hockey players,” said an informed interlocutor in law enforcement agencies in response to a question from RT.

According to him, no criminal cases, where the names of the players would appear as suspects, have also been initiated.

Earlier, a number of Telegram channels published information that Russian hockey players could become defendants in criminal cases on the purchase of military tickets.

Before that, in April 2022, FSB officers detained a former traffic police officer Farit Samigullin in Ufa under the article “Bribery mediation”.

According to investigators, Samigullin was an intermediary in the transfer of money for military tickets for athletes.

According to the preliminary version, he managed to "help" at least eight football players and several hockey players - in particular, from HC Salavat Yulaev.

As RT wrote, on July 1, in St. Petersburg, the goalkeeper of the Russian national hockey team Ivan Fedotov, who had previously played in CSKA, but on May 7, 2022, signed a contract with the American club Philadelphia Flyers, was detained.

According to media reports, the athlete is accused of evading military service.

According to Article 328 of the Criminal Code of Russia, he faces up to two years in prison.

On July 6, information appeared in the media that Fedotov could have acquired a "military man" from Farit Samigullin, who was detained in Ufa - Fedotov was then a player of Salavat Yulaev.

At the same time, Telegram channels reported that Samigullin's "clients" were Minnesota forward Kirill Kaprizov (at the time of receiving the soldier he played in Salavat Yulaev) and CSKA player Pavel Karnaukhov.

According to RT, these versions do not have official confirmation.
