Kosovar Asllani, 32, is currently in England to chase gold in the European Championships with the Swedish national team.
But in the autumn, new challenges await in a new league.
Then she will play for AC Milan in Serie A.

What came into play when you chose the club?
- There are an incredible number of things that need to be done before choosing a club.
I really went for gut feeling and the feeling I got when I visited the club.
It has felt very professional.
They really want to bet on me and even more on the team.
An ambitious club.
Asllani says that she had other offers, but that Milan was what attracted the most.
Even though they will not play in the Champions League next season.
- Maybe it was not what people expected.
Not a top team in the Champions League or England.
But I have really gone for what I want and not what people expect, says the midfield star.
