A survey has been conducted in Swedish swimming and it asked SVT Sport to be allowed to read.

Then they got no from the swimming association, with reference to the fact that it is internal.

But through our own interviews with leaders and former activists, several of whom have responded to the swimming association's survey, we were able to tell that most of the dissatisfaction is directed at the former national team captain Ulrika Knape Lindberg.

She is the mother of Anna Lindberg, who resigned as national team captain this spring.

The survey was conducted by the swimming association's business developer Susanne Meckbach and now Lindberg points to Meckbach as the reason why she quit.

- It is because of the business developer who works with swimming that is the reason why I ended my assignment, Lindberg says to Expressen and continues:

- I felt early on that we did not share the same values and that we do not have the same purpose with our assignment.

It is important that you do not come up with untruths and convey a wrong image of Swedish swimming and hang out individuals in a way that I do not think is okay.

This has happened and I do not want to be a part of it.

"I get very sad"

Meckbach, who has conducted investigations for several sports federations and associations, was upset when she heard about Lindberg's image of her.

- I'm very sad to read the accusations against me.

That I deal with untruths and that I am dishonest.

The only thing I have done is that in consultation with my boss, Ulrika Sandmark, I have done a current situation analysis of Swedish swimming.

I have done it professionally, I have worked based on research ethics principles, I have used a method, I have used an interview guide.

I have done it as a research report.

I have also treated the information that has emerged professionally, she tells SVT Sport.

- Then it is a result that is as it is and you can not change that, even if it is a negative result.

This is where I get upset.

I've never been accused of having things during all my years in research and sports.

"Do not understand where she gets it from"

In the interview with Expressen, Lindberg also criticizes the investigation itself.

- As I understand it, they have talked to many, but they have asked different questions based on who they have talked to, she says.

That picture, Meckbach thinks, is not true.

- I do not understand where she gets it from.

That is certainly not the case.

But in a conversation, the questions can come in different order, you go deeper into some because for some a question is not relevant.

But the interview guide has been followed.

And these have been open questions, not leading ones.

And they have asked everyone.

SVT has spoken with Anna Lindberg who does not want to comment further.
