According to the Swedish Parasport Association, the decision is due to the fact that the International Paralympic Committee at the end of May handed over responsibility for the para-WC to the international ski association Fis.
Since that shift, the Swedish Parasport Association has no agreement with an international partner.
"These are unreasonable and too risky conditions," it says in a press release.
- It was a very difficult decision for the board to make and we understand that many are disappointed.
Unfortunately, in the current situation, we have had no choice but to make this decision, says Llinares Norlin.
The sports that had had the World Cup in Jämtland were cross-country skiing, biathlon, alpine skiing, snowboarding and paraic hockey.
