It took no more than just over six minutes before BK Häcken's Elma Junttila Nelhage reached the top of a corner and gave Sweden a dream start in the summer heat, with its first national team goal.

- Such a nice nod, on a good corner by Anna Sandberg, says SVT's commentator Daniel Kristiansson.

The match did not stop being eventful after that.

Only in the first half did England have two balls on the goal line, the only one of which was saved in the crossbar.

Sweden resisted the whole match and made sure that the away team lost its first match in the last eight.

You can partly thank the assistant maker Anna Sandberg for that, who was praised during the match by SVT's Daniel Kristiansson:

- That hill has many eyes on it from other clubs, after they have seen two matches in this tournament, he says.

With two wins in the bag and zero goals conceded, Sweden tops Group B in the U19 European Championships and is extremely close to the semifinals.

On Sunday, the group game will be decided.

Norway and England have three points each, which means that Sweden is the group to win if you take one point.
