Rebecca Peterson has had a difficult period behind her and did not even start in the latest Grand Slam tournament French Open due to a sprained foot.

The last time she played a match was on May 15 and maybe there was a lack of pace in her body when she entered Wimbledon's first round on Tuesday night.

She started by losing the first set against Anna Karolina Schmiedlova by 7-5, found new strength in the second which she won blankly, but in the third she lost the serve three times and then it is difficult to win tennis matches.

In the end, Schmiedlova won 2-1 in sets.

Mirjam Björklund also lost in the first round and thus all Swedish women's players are eliminated from this year's Wimbledon.
