Hubert Hurkacz donates SEK 1,000 for each serveess

Hubert Hurkacz recently won the ATP tournament Halle Open, which was his first title on grass.

In Wimbledon, which is also played on grass, he is seventh seeded.

Last year, he went to the semifinals of the grand slam tournament after 54 serveess.

If he does the same number this year, it means around SEK 57,000 for the needy in war-torn Ukraine.

"I will donate 100 euros to Ukrainian citizens for every serve I make at this year's Wimbledon.

I hope the serve will be good ", he writes on Twitter.

The 25-year-old Pole has done the third most service on the ATP tour this year.

In 39 matches he has made 452 serve, which gives an average of 11.5 serve per match.

Hurkacz meets Alejandro Davidovich Fokina from Spain in the first round which starts today.
