Saudi Arabia will play 5 friendly matches in September and November in preparation for the World Cup

The Saudi national team announced that it will play five friendly matches in preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and confirmed the date and place of all these matches, including the new match with Panama.

The Saudi team, which announced this month that it will face Colombia and the United States in friendly on September 23 and 27 respectively, said on its Twitter account that it will play Iceland, Panama and Croatia in November.

Saudi Arabia will play Iceland on the sixth of November in Abu Dhabi, then face Panama four days later in the Emirates as well, before hosting Croatia in Riyadh on the 16th of the same month.

Saudi Arabia played two friendly matches in June in preparation for the World Cup, losing by the same score 1-0 to the two South American teams, Colombia and Venezuela.

Saudi Arabia will start its World Cup campaign in Group C against Argentina on November 22, before playing with Poland and then Mexico in the second and third rounds, respectively.
