It was a success for Sarah Sjöström at the World Swimming Championships in Budapest.

Two gold and one silver in three individual starts.

The 28-year-old had set up the strategy a little differently in advance and chosen to invest in the sprint races - and swim fewer distances in total.

- I have wanted to invest in sprint fully for several years.

But it is tough to run those branches, it is usually small margins that decide, says the Swedish superstar.

Despite the success, she sees for herself that there is much more to be gained from her swimming.

- There is development potential.

You can see on both 50 butterfly and 50 free that I am behind after the first half.

If I get to that part of the race, it will probably be difficult for the others to catch up.

So it feels very motivating.

But it is also a great feeling to swim to catch up the last 25 meters, says Sjöström.

In the final of the 50 meter freestyle, Sjöström beat the world year's best with a time of 23.98.

- In the end, it is not the times that count once you are in the final, it is just the placement.

Even though I'm a bit from my best times, I can still stand on the podium and it's cool, she says,
