China News Service, Beijing, June 24. According to the WTT World Table Tennis Federation, the first WTT Championship (European Summer Series) will be held from July 18 to 23 in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
The current list of entries has been confirmed. Olympic champions Ma Long and Chen Meng will lead the competition, and many top players will participate.

The WTT Championship Budapest will combine the men's and women's events. The event will set up 32 seats for each of the men's and women's singles, including the top 30 players in the world and two wild card places.
Ma Long and Chen Meng lead the national table tennis lineup.
In women's singles, the world's top 4 Chen Meng, Sun Yingsha, Wang Manyu and Wang Yidi will compete together, and Japanese star Mima Ito will challenge the Chinese team.
In the men's singles, due to Fan Zhendong's absence, Ma Long will be the top seed in the tournament, and Liang Jingkun, Wang Chuqin and Lin Gaoyuan will also play.

The total prize money for this event is US$500,000, and the champion will receive 1,000 ITTF World Ranking points.
