After Bayern Munich announced - the day before yesterday, Wednesday - the signing of Senegalese star Sadio Mane for a period of 3 years, the former Liverpool player topped the list of the highest paid Africans in the world.

Reports stated that Bayern agreed to a deal worth about 40 million euros, including additions to obtain the services of the 30-year-old player, who had a year left on his contract with the "Reds".

Mane left Anfield after playing 269 games in which he scored 120 goals in all competitions, and helped Liverpool win the Champions League title in the 2018-2019 season and the English Premier League a season later.

Mane won 6 titles in total after moving from Southampton in June 2016, and formed a terrible attacking trio with Mohamed Salah and Robert Firmino in Liverpool.

According to media reports, Mane will receive 292,000 euros per week, superior to Salah, his former colleague in "Liver".
