Before the qualifying final, he had defeated both Nikola Milojevic and Riccardo Bonadio with 2-0 in sets.
But in the qualifying final, the journey ended.
Jason Kubler from Australia became too difficult and Ymer fell in three straight sets.
The final numbers were written to 6-3, 6-2 and 6-4, in a match that was over after just over two hours of play.
Wimbledon is played between June 27 and July 10.
