André Petersson has in recent seasons been outstanding in the KHL and scored a total of 255 points out of 326 in the Eastern European top league.
Now he is back in the SHL and the newcomer HV71.
- HV71 means a lot to me.
This is where my career took off when I moved here as a 15-year-old so it feels extremely inspiring to come back and play here again, says Petersson who managed to win a Swedish Championship gold with the Jönköping team before he left.
The new sports director Kent Norberg is pleased that Petersson has signed a three-year contract.
- André is one of the best Swedish players who played in the KHL and has produced at a high level for a long time, he says.
