It's the end of the adventure for Christophe Pélissier at Les Merlus.

According to

Ouest-France

, the Lorient coach learned this weekend that he was going to be landed with all of his staff.

The announcement would have been made to him on Saturday by President Loïc Ferry when Christophe Pélissier had just returned from vacation.

He still had two years left on his contract with FC Lorient where he arrived on the bench in 2019. Arrived from Amiens, he had allowed the Merlus to go back to Ligue 1 in his first season.

The last was not a great success for the Lorient people who finished in 16th place, just five points from relegation.

While the resumption of Hake is scheduled in a week, it is Régis Le Bris who should succeed Christophe Pélissier on the bench.

Director of the Lorient training center, the former defender obtained his professional coaching license last month.

Christophe Pélissier could bounce back quite quickly.

His name is thus cited on the side of Sochaux to succeed Omar Daf who has just signed in Dijon.
