At the Korea Women's Open, one of the most prestigious major tournaments in women's golf in Korea, Lim Hee-jung won the championship with a new record for the smallest hit ever.

Heejung Lim, who entered the final round with a lead of 6 strokes, secured her victory early with birdies on the 1st and 2nd holes in a row.

'Defending Champion' Min-ji Park pursued hard, but Hee-jung Lim was not shaken at all.

She broke the record for 19-under-par 269 and the Korean Women's Open 72-hole minimum, and Lim Hee-jung received her prize money of 300 million won.

She said she was in a car accident in April that left her with five career wins and her second major win, with her overwhelming prowess at the event while she still suffers from the after-effects.
