Paredes on Messi: He wanted to kill me because of a match between Saint-Germain and Barcelona

Paris Saint-Germain player, Argentine Paredes, revealed that a previous incident between him and his compatriot, international star Lionel Messi, Saint-Germain playmaker, Messi almost killed him because of it.

Paredes said that the incident occurred due to the round of 16 match between Barcelona and Saint-Germain in the European Champions League, and Messi was a player in Barcelona during the season before last.

He revealed that Messi was feeling very upset due to the 4-1 loss at their "Camp Nou" stadium in Barcelona, and after Paredes intervened strongly against Messi, the latter's anger increased dramatically.

He said that out of tension, he talked to a colleague about Messi in words he had heard last and did not like.

He said, "After that, he was very angry, and he almost killed me because of that comment. Unfortunately, at that time, I only wanted the match to end quickly, because the tension between us reached an extreme."

He stressed that when Messi gets angry, he turns into a completely different person.

He said that it is one of the bad moments that he wants to forget, especially since he is his colleague in the national team, and he is currently in the same team.

But he said that he was surprised that Messi, after their first meeting in the Argentina national team after that incident, spoke to him in a normal way, without any mention of what happened between them previously.
