Professional baseball pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto achieved a no-hit no-run in the Seibu match held at Berna Dome in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture on the 18th.

This is the 86th and 97th no-hitter in professional baseball since DeNA's pitcher Shota Imanaga achieved it on the 7th of this month.

Pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto is 23 years old from Okayama prefecture.



He joined Miyakonojo High School in Miyazaki Prefecture in 2017 in 4th place in the draft.



In his second year as a pro, he took 32 holds in the league second place in the middle reliever, and in the third year when he turned to the starting lineup, he won the title with the highest ERA with an ERA of 1.95.



He took 149 strikeouts and won the title of the most strikeouts.
