Linn Grant did not look to get a top spot in London, but then she excelled on the last nine holes.

She made six birdies, three of which came on the final three holes.

That was enough for a third place in the competition, behind the British Bronte Law and Georgia Hall, after a real thriller finish.

With the birdie on the 18th hole, Grant went up in a split lead, but Law and Hall had one hole left to play.

Hall made a birdie and thus took the lead, but Law responded by putting an incredible eagle putt.

Law thus won by one stroke ahead of Hall and two ahead of Grant.

The second best Swede was Johanna Gustavsson, six strokes from the victory.
