Fabregas officially leaves Monaco
French football club Monaco announced today the departure of Cesc Fabregas, crowned with the Spanish national team with the World Cup title, from the team, without a clear picture of the player's next destination.
Monaco posted a tweet on the social networking site "Twitter", in which he said, "Thank you, Cesc!"
Fabregas, 35, spent three and a half years with Monaco, who joined him from Chelsea, but he suffered greatly from injury during his last season with the French team.
Fabregas, the former star of Arsenal and Barcelona, participated in 110 international matches and was crowned with the Spanish national team with the 2010 World Cup and the European Nations Cup in 2008 and 2012.
