The International Football Federation (FIFA) announced on June 16, local time, that it will co-host the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

  A total of 16 host cities have been identified for the World Cup, including 11 American cities, namely: Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle.
