36-year-old Rafael Nadal has had an injury-filled period behind him and went against the clock to recover from a stress fracture in his ribs to the French Open.

Once in place in the French capital, he won his 14th title on the gravel after 3-0 in the set in the final against the Norwegian Casper Ruud.

Afterwards, the Spaniard said that he played the tournament with great pain in one foot.

In the final, the 36-year-old had no feeling for it.

Now he is giving the go-ahead for what looks like a game at Wimbledon, which starts in two weeks, after all.

- The idea is to try to play Wimbledon, my intention is to travel to London, he says to Marca.
