Nilla Fischer has turned down European Championship games with the national team this summer due to the fact that it will be difficult to get family life together.

Now she will be able to follow the championship closely, but as an expert.

Fischer has previously been an expert in SVT during the men's European Championships last summer.

- I take with me experience that I have done it before and can be more comfortable.

It was extremely fun and I want to have that feeling and it will be fun to talk in the studio.

I will bring my own experience as a player into the role.

There will probably be some defense talk, I think, says Fischer.

Fischer has for many years been an important cog in the Swedish national team and knows the players in the team very well.

But there is nothing that will affect her role as an expert and she has no problem being critical of her old national team friends.

- Yes, I think I can.

But I probably will not saw any team along the ankles.

And I will probably not say anything I could not say to the team or the players as a person.

But hopefully I do not have to criticize at all, but if necessary I can do it, she says.

What do you think about Sweden's chances in the European Championships?

- I think it looks good, as the national team played both in the Olympics and until now, I think there are great chances to take gold.

But then everyone has to top their form and a lot has to fall into place.

It is the weeks in place that everything should sit, says Fischer.
