- The European Championship triumph in England in 1984 is still Sweden's only major championship title on the women's side.

Now we long to follow a Swedish team, with fierce competition in all parts of the team, which 38 years later may very well succeed in reaching the sold-out final at Wembley, says host Jane Björck who has followed women's football and its development for four decades:

- The whole setting around this European Championship, with the explosive football interest that prevails, really feels like something extra, she continues.

Jane Björck is joined in the studio by strong profiles with different perspectives, such as SVT's expert Daniel Nannskog, national team star Nilla Fischer and Olympic silver medalist Lisa Dahlkvist.

In addition, more experts will be presented closer to the championship.

On location in England, SVT has a large presence with commentators Chris Härenstam and Markus Johannesson as well as reporters Johan Kücükaslan, Rihaneh Rouhani and Milad Akbarzadeh, who highlight Sweden and the rest of the championship.

In addition to the live broadcasts, SVT offers exciting content initiatives such as "At home with the European Championship stars", where Fridolina Rolfö, Magdalena Eriksson, Sofia Jakobsson and Hedvig Lindahl open up about their lives and thoughts about football, "As I remember it" and Lilla Sportspegeln's commentator.

- The Swedish national team has a great chance to go all the way and we of course hope that Sweden is one of two teams when we broadcast the final from Wembley on Sunday 31 July.

We believe in a real party this summer and all the conditions are in place to give the Swedish people fantastic entertainment, says SVT's project manager Marcus Törngren.
