It was at the end of the first half in the league meeting with Brommapojkarna on Sunday that Tindell had to interrupt the match with a knee injury.

The American, who has scored nine goals this year and is second in the Damallsvenska shooting league, was trampled on the foot and twisted her knee when she landed, in front of a worried KDFF bench.

But after the MRI X-ray on Thursday comes reassuring news.

- It is so heavenly scary when they get on their knees and fall together like that, then you always fear a cruciate ligament injury, but she does not, says doctor Marie Ramlund, who says that the club is still waiting for a final answer from the radiologist.

- You grade these injuries on the outer ligament, a little depending on what it shows, it will be a couple of weeks of rest and gradual return, says Ramlund.

Kristianstad will play its last match before the summer break at home against Piteå on Sunday.

- Then there is a break so it's timely, says Ramlund.

Kristianstad will then restart away against Kalmar on 6 August.

It is unclear if Tindell can join until then.

- We'll see.

We do not know until we have received the final answer from the X-ray how many weeks it will be, says Ramlund.

Do you know when the final message will come?

- I think it will come pretty soon, but I would think it is between two and six weeks, something like that.

You sound relieved?

- Absolutely, very relieved.

What does she say herself?

- She is fine.

She is also very relieved.
