Sweden's women's national football team will soon probably play in front of the largest audience figure to date in a Swedish football arena.

For the genre rope at the National Arena against Brazil on June 28, before this summer's European Championships, 28,500 people have so far bought tickets.

- Sales are rolling well, and that is a fantastic figure.

Now we can hope that they actually come too, says the Swedish Football Association's ticket manager Christoffer Lund to SVT Sport.

The current audience record for the blue and yellows is 25,882 spectators, in a training international match on Friends against Germany in April 2019.

- Then the tickets were relatively cheap, now they have been a bit more expensive but still the interest has been great, says Christoffer Lund.

What are you hoping for?

- To break the audience record is the first goal, then we will have over 30,000.

Sweden's European Championship rematch against Brazil, with Pia Sundhage as the national team captain, kicks off at 18.30 on 28 June.

The match is broadcast on SVT.
