The Palestinian national football team qualified for the Asian Nations Cup finals for the third time in a row, after defeating its Philippine counterpart 4-0 today, Tuesday, in the third round of Group B matches in the final round of qualifiers for the 2023 Asian Nations Cup.

The Palestinian team achieved the third victory in a row to win the group lead with 9 points and qualify for the finals, while the balance of the Philippines team froze at 4 points in second place.

Yemen is in third place with one point, followed by Mongolia in fourth place without credit, before their match scheduled for today.

At the Football Association Stadium in Mongolia in the capital, Ulan Bator, the "Fedayeen" team advanced against its Filipino counterpart with two goals in the first half, scored by Saleh Shehadeh (31) and Tamer Siam (42).

In the second half, Muhammad Yamin (55) and Mahmoud Abu Warda (72) added the third and fourth goals for Palestine.
