Liverpool and Benfica have reached an agreement for the transfer of striker Darwin Nunez for 75 million euros, the Portuguese club announced on Monday.
The Lisbon people could even recover up to 100 million euros depending on bonuses linked to certain sporting objectives, the statement said.

The Uruguayan, also tracked by Manchester United, should pass his medical on Monday before the formalization of his transfer to the vice-champions of Europe and England.
Darwin Nunez, who will turn 23 on June 26, landed in Lisbon in the summer of 2020 from Almeria.
After a mixed first year, he exploded this season by scoring 34 goals.
He notably shone in the Champions League, scoring against FC Barcelona, Bayern, Ajax and… Liverpool.
The Uruguayan had planted out and back in the quarter-final (3-1, 3-3) against his new club.
