Swedish Jacob Eriksson competes for the Danish road team Riwal Cycling Team and is currently in the Netherlands for the ZLM Tour competition.
On the third stage, between Heythuysen and Buchten, the 22-year-old was involved in a strange accident.
He was part of a breakout on the stage when he was suddenly hit by another team's service car.
Eriksson falls to the ground and is then extremely close to ending up with his hand under the front car tire.
"What a fucking joke"
Eriksson got back on the bike after the accident and was able to complete the remaining ten miles with scratches and broken pants.
Eriksson himself posted a clip of the incident on Instagram and commented on the incident.
"What a fucking joke," he writes.
Eriksson, who finished in 15th place at the U23 European Championships this autumn, will continue to compete during the weekend.
Today's stage runs between the Dutch cities of Ruchpen and Mierlo.
