The Nations Cup in jumping continues this weekend with competitions in Sopot, Poland.

For the Swedish team, it is the season premiere and the first of four competitions where Sweden is chasing points with a view to the final in Barcelona in October.

The Swedish riders on site in Poland are world number two Henrik von Eckermann, Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli, Douglas Lindelöw, Stephanie Holmén and Wilma Hellström.

Which four will ride in the team on Sunday is not yet clear.

- An exciting team regardless.

I want to see horses that continue to develop and teams that are well prepared for the task, then I am satisfied.

Where you end up in the results list is another matter, you never know, says national team captain Henrik Ankarcrona to the Swedish Equestrian Federation.

Sweden will face Ireland, Switzerland, France, Germany and Norway on Sunday.

The team line-ups include world champion Kevin Staut, France, European Champion from 2021 Andre Thieme, Germany and Darragh Kenny, Ireland.

SVT broadcasts starting at 11.50 on SVT1 / SVT Play.
