The Spanish club formalized this Saturday the arrival of midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni from AS Monaco.

The 22-year-old French international has signed a six-year contract with the reigning European champions.

The amount of the transfer would be around 100 million euros.

A few weeks after having suffered the refusal of Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid will be able to console themselves with Aurélien Tchouaméni.

The French international midfielder arrives from AS Monaco and has signed a six-season contract with the recent Champions League winner.

The 22-year-old international still has to pass the medical examination before signing his contract and being presented on Tuesday at 12 p.m. at the Santiago-Bernabeu Stadium.

A transfer of 80 million euros, excluding bonuses

Currently in selection with the France team, Tchouaméni is the only player in Didier Deschamps' group to have started in the first three matches of the Blues (Denmark, Croatia and Austria) in Group 1 of the League of Nations.

Didier Deschamps' men play a last meeting on Monday at the Stade de France against Croatia, before facing Austria and Denmark again in September to conclude this group stage of the League of Nations.
